Embodiment 1

[0119] (1) Calculation method of the minimum green light time of the motor vehicle phase at the entrance

[0120] Use formula (1) to calculate the minimum green light time of phase K (Gmin K ). The minimum green light time to ensure driving safety (Gmin K,S ) generally takes a value within 2 to 15s. The minimum green light time to ensure that a certain number of queuing vehicles dissipate (Gmin K,QS ) should respectively make the head car in the line going straight out of the entrance road exit the ring smoothly, and the head car in the line turning left at the entrance road smoothly arrive at the second stop line of the ring road in the counterclockwise direction. The minimum green light time for pedestrians to cross the street safely (Gmin K,P ) depends on the minimum green light display time of the pedestrian phase (tmin F ) and the relevant green light intervals, and are only valid for the straight-going phase of the approach road.

Abstract

The invention discloses a four-way ring intersection traffic response control method and belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic control. The method is characterized by introducing conceptions of front left turn and rear left turn so as to obtain nine basic principles of phase display sequences; establishing a technical architecture suitable for a flexible phase structure; arrangingan inlet requirement detector, a ring road queuing detector and a ring road outlet detector; acquiring head time interval and occupied time by adopting an independent detection mode of lanes; and defining ten key traffic events and three types of logic rules which comprises a phase switching rule, a deadlock management rule and a green time adjusting rule, wherein the phase switching rule is usedfor managing the duration of the phase switching process and determining whether to cut off red time of the next green phase; the deadlock management rule is used for judging a ring road deadlock state and managing a ring road unlocking process; and the green time adjusting rule is used for determining whether to cut off the green time of an inlet phase. The four-way ring intersection traffic response control method can timely adjust passing time resource supply according to short-time continuous change of motor vehicle traffic demand.
