Abstract

he invention discloses an epipolar image generating method of a universal line array satellite. The method comprises the following steps: selecting a left image in a stereo image pair as a reference image, allowing an epipolar ray to be strictly parallel to an image line in the space of the reference image in an image blocking area-for-area correction manner, and using an affine transformation model to describe a mapping relationship before and after blocking correction in order to establish a coordinate transformation relationship between the epipolar ray image and the original image; and simultaneously projecting the corrected left epipolar image and the right original image to one reference substance of an object space based on an object space projection image idea, and re-sampling thereference surface to generate a right epipolar image having the same size and same resolution with the left epipolar image. The method well considers the epipolar ray direction change in every area ofthe image, effectively controls the vertical parallax of the full-image epipolar rays to be close to zero, and especially has a good robustness to the stereo image pair with an unstable nuclear linerelationship.
