1 results about "Broodstock" patented technology

Broodstock, or broodfish, are a group of mature individuals used in aquaculture for breeding purposes. Broodstock can be a population of animals maintained in captivity as a source of replacement for, or enhancement of, seed and fry numbers. These are generally kept in ponds or tanks in which environmental conditions such as photoperiod, temperature and pH are controlled. Such populations often undergo conditioning to ensure maximum fry output. Broodstock can also be sourced from wild populations where they are harvested and held in maturation tanks before their seed is collected for grow-out to market size or the juveniles returned to the sea to supplement natural populations. This method, however, is subject to environmental conditions and can be unreliable seasonally, or annually. Broodstock management can improve seed quality and number through enhanced gonadal development and fecundity.

The present invention discloses an egg goldfish breeding method. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of (1) treating a breeding pool; (2) treating pool water; (3) selecting parent fishes; (4), performing male and female matching on the parent fishes; (5) performing artificial fertilization; (6) performing fish egg incubation; (7) performing fry breeding; (8) performing juvenile fish breeding; and (9) performing adult fish breeding. The parent fishes live in a clean and suitable environment for a period of time before being bred, and the parent fishes are subjected tomale and female matching, so that the fertilization efficiency of the parent fishes is high; the artificial fertilization is started after the breeding peak period is reached, thereby effectively ensuring the formation of fertilized eggs; the parent fishes are subjected to sectional type breeding after fertilization; and different breeding modes are adopted in different growth periods of fries, sothat the growth of the fries is facilitated.
