The method disclosed by the invention is mainly applied to small-scale forest resource survey, continuous photogrammetry is performed around the permanent sample plot by using a fixed-focus camera, and the fixed-focus camera is used as a tool toperform photogrammetry along the circumference and a diagonal direction of the permanent sample plot to take a digital photo of the sample plot; and a three-dimensional model of the tree in the sampleplot is extracted, and coordinates (x, y, z) and the diameter at breast height of each sample tree in the sample plot are obtained by matching and constructing the three-dimensional model of the sample plot.
