The invention discloses a garment design method based on a network platform, comprising the following steps of step 1 enabling a user to register on the network; 2 enabling the user to fill in the information such as height, weight, required clothing style, appointment time, etc; 3 according to the information filled in by the user, enabling the network platform to select the corresponding designer for the matching; 4 carrying out the video communication between that user and the designer on the network platform at the reservation time; 5 enabling the network platform to further collect the body size of the user and establish a three-dimensional model; 6 enabling the user to remotely watch the design process through the network platform and make suggestion; 7 enabling the designer to try on the designed garment style on the three-dimensional model until it is suitable for the user; 8 enabling the user to confirm on the network, and completing the garment design. The clothes of the invention can be customized through a network platform.
