Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a driving control method and device suitable for a VBTC system. The method comprises receiving, by an intelligent train protection (ITP) system of a train operation control VBTC system using train control as a core, a destination number and a request for changing a destination input by a driver into an onboard machine interaction interface (MMI); determining whether the communication between the ITP system and an intelligent train supervision (ITS) system is normal; and if the communication between the ITP system and the ITS system is interrupted, performing route planning, generating a preliminary driving route, and transmitting the preliminary driving route to the MMI for display. The method in the embodiment of the present invention, when it isdetermined that the communication between the ITS system and the ITP system is interrupted, performs the route planning and generates the preliminary driving route. When a train ahead or a signal device has fault, a train and the ITS system have a communication fault, or a train is temporarily required to modify a destination, the method improves the operation flexibility of train, avoids manual access is required, and greatly improves the overall operating efficiency of the VBTC signal system based on train-to-train communication.
