Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for better error correction by combining two types of signals: one with positive or negative signs on both sides of each bit period separately before sending them over an optic fiber network. By doing these techniques, there are benefits such as improved signal quality and reduced interference between data streams caused by imperfections along their transmission path.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution described in this patents allows users with limited mobility to connect wirelessly through free space opticals while also improving their overall experience during emergency situations like fires. Current solutions involve expensive equipment and complicated processes requiring advanced technologies.

Embodiment Construction

[0017] see figure 1 , in this scheme, a distributed feedback laser 1 is set at the transmitting end, and the continuous laser light emitted by it is divided into two optical carriers by the first polarization beam splitter 2, and a code generator is used to generate a pseudo-random binary sequence. After the binary sequence is not operated, the binary precoding process is performed, and then input to the first NRZ pulse generator 3.1, filtered by the first low-pass filter 4.1, input to the first 1X2 splitter 5.1, and then input to the first electrical amplifier 6.1 for amplification , output the first duobinary precoded signal, and the first duobinary precoded signal and one of the optical carriers are modulated by the first LiNbO3 Mach-Zehnder modulator 7.1 to generate the first optical DB signal. In the same way, the other way uses a pattern generator to generate a pseudo-random binary sequence, performs binary pre-coding processing on the pseudo-random binary sequence, and the

Abstract

The invention discloses a dual-polarization-state dual-binary optical access system fusing an optical fiber link and a free space optical communication channel. According to the system, a polarizationmultiplexing technology and a dual-binary modulation mode are adopted to generate an optical dual-polarization state dual-binary (DP-DB) signal at a transmitting end, and the signal is transmitted through a 50km single-mode optical fiber (SMF-28) and a 100m free space wireless optical communication (FSO) channel at the rate of 10Gb/s. Compared with a conventional optical access system scheme, thetest results prove that the DP-DB optical fiber access system provided by the invention has the access advantages of an optical fiber link and a free space downlink at the same time, can provide theaccess with high bandwidth efficiency and support the direct detection of the optical signals after polarization demultiplexing, and can be applied to the last kilometer area which is not beneficial to optical fiber transmission.
