Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a management message transmission method, which is used for saving downlink bandwidth overhead and improving downlink data transmission rate. The method comprises the following steps: first equipment receives a main channel configuration message sent by second equipment, wherein the main channel configuration message is used for configuring at least two main channels for the first equipment; the first equipment determines the at least two main channels according to the main channel configuration message, the similarity of medium access control (MAC) management messages corresponding to the at least two main channels exceeds a preset threshold, and one main channel corresponds to one MAC management message; the first equipment receives a target MACmanagement message sent by the second equipment, wherein the target MAC message is an MAC management message corresponding to any one of the at least two main channels; and the first equipment copiesthe target MAC management message to each of the at least two main channels for sending.
