Abstract

The invention provides an automobile panoramic imaging device and method based on infrared calibration. The device comprises multiple camera shooting acquisition units arranged in different directions around an automobile, a video conversion unit, a video processing unit, a storage unit, a video coding and outputting unit, a display unit and infrared lasers respectively fixed on the multiple camera shooting acquisition units, wherein the camera shooting acquisition units shoot colorful image information in different directions around the automobile; the video conversion unit converts analog signal image information shot by each camera shooting acquisition unit into binary digital image information; the digital image information is stored in the storage unit; and the video processing unit analyzes and processes the information of multiple digital images in the storage unit by virtue of an infrared calibration line emitted from an infrared emitter. According to the automobile panoramic imaging device and method based on infrared calibration, the panoramic information of the automobile and the surrounding environment can be accurately provided for drivers in real time.
