The identifying method comprises the following steps of removing to-be-counted pasting color palette image noise by adopting a color filter method; acquiring direct-current components of pasting color palette images and direct-current components of substrates; according to the direct-current components, acquiring Fourier exponential parameters; adopting preset exponential parameters and the quantitative model of the pests to acquire the quantity of the pests on the pasting color palette according to the Fourier exponential parameters. The invention further discloses a device for identifying the quantity of the pests on the greenhouse pasting color palette. The device comprises the pasting color palette, a camera, a fixing device, a collector, and an intelligent terminal.
