Abstract

The invention discloses a boot animation language configuration method and system based on a smart television. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a system language currently adopted by the smart television in the boot process of the smart television, and judging a current system language type; finding a corresponding boot animation file according to the current system language type; and if the corresponding boot animation file is found, playing a boot animation corresponding to the current system language. Through adoption of the boot animation language configuration method and system, a boot animation of a corresponding language can be played correspondingly by means of identification of the current system language at television boot, so that users in different countries can watch television programs without language barriers; the specific character content in the boot animation can be comprehended clearly; and convenience is brought to the users.
