Abstract

The invention relates to a flow metering device and method for paste conveying pipeline and designs a set of optical fiber Doppler sensing system utilizing a fiber grating as a detecting element. The design comprises light source selection, photoelectric detector design, a demodulating device, a signal separation filtering circuit, a voltage amplifying circuit and a signal processing circuit. According to an optical fiber Doppler flow sensor, the scattering effect of solid particles to light and the optical Doppler effect are utilized, an optical fiber is taken as a transmission medium of light, light signal in the medium is demodulated by virtue of paste in the pipeline, the modulation light signal is converted into an electric parameter by virtue of a photoelectric detector, the electric parameter is finally subjected to spectral analysis by virtue of a voltage circuit amplifying circuit and a low-frequency filter circuit, and a measured flow value is obtained through modulation of a processing system, and therefore, the real-time monitoring on the flow of the paste in a filling pipeline is realized.
