Abstract

The invention relates to a cloud application-guided solid state disk cache management system and method. A core concept is characterized in that from the view of a cloud application, mapping relationship between virtual machines and a solid state disk is depicted by a multilayer network model; optimal solid state disk cache size obtained by each virtual machine is further determined. When the workload of the cloud application changes, the system can automatically trigger a regulation process to execute the dynamic migration and the cache capacity change of the virtual machines, so that the performance of the cloud application is improved, and the utilization rate of the solid state disk is improved.
