Abstract

The present invention provides a method for service flow limiting, which includes: obtaining a service request and determining a service type corresponding to the service request; determining a service flow limiting stage of the service according to the service type of the service; setting a time slot and obtaining a service total load; and according to the service total load and a service load set value, performing flow limiting on the service in the service flow limiting stage of the service. The present invention further provides a device for service flow limiting. The method and the device for service flow limiting of the present invention perform the flow limiting operation on services of different service types at different service flow limiting stages so that service flow limiting operation can be efficiently performed to improve the flow limiting operation efficiency.
