Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for characterizing rice population quality. The method includes the following steps that: rice plants at a booting stage are labeled; sampling is performed; measurement is performed; and the heading uniformity of rice is calculated, and the rice population quality is characterized according to the heading uniformity. The method for characterizing the rice population quality of the present invention is suitable for all types of rice populations except those subjected to severe drought stress. The method has the advantages of wide application range, simple calculation method, highly-targeted performance and high accuracy.
