Abstract

The invention discloses an adaptive protection method of a power distribution network with a distributed power supply. The method comprises the steps that 1) the distributed power supply is equivalentto an ideal current source Idg, the magnitude of the Idg is directly proportional to the magnitude of the output power of the distributed power supply, and according to a topological structure of a line, an equivalent circuit when a downstream line of the distributed power supply is determined; 2) a fault type parameter Kd estimated automatically and a system impedance Zs when the fault occurs are determined; 3) an impedance Zk from downstream protection of the distributed power supply to a fault point is determined, and an increase assisted current Ip is calculated; and 4) on the basis of the increase assisted current, a main protection setting value of the downstream protection of an access point of the distributed power supply is adjusted adaptively.
