Abstract

The invention provides an ECU data flashing method and system. A flashing tool encrypts the key data and the ECU identification code appointed in a program to be flashed according to an appointed irreversible compression algorithm to generate a checksum and generates a flashing code according to the checksum, and when the flashing tool flashes the data, the flashing code is flashed to a specific position of an ECU memory together. An ECU reads the agreed key data and the ECU identification codes in the memory, generates the verification checksum according to the appointed irreversible compression algorithm, reads the checksum in the flash code at the specific position of the memory, judges whether the checksum is consistent with the verification checksum or not, if yes, the ECU normally runs a flash program, if not, the ECU identifies the current flashing code as the illegal flashing, and sends out an alarm prompt. The ECU flashes and verifies, so that the data security problem causedby the leakage of the ECU data and the flashing tool is avoided.
