The capacity configuration method for the flexible interconnection device of the power distribution network comprises the following steps of acquiring data of the power distribution network, performing optimal configuration according to the data of the power distribution network, determining the configuration capacity of a current converter of the flexible interconnection device, and determining the configuration capacity of an interconnection switch according to the data of the power distribution network and the configuration capacity of the current converter. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, optimal configuration of the capacities of the back-to-back AC-DC-AC converter and the parallel circuit breaker is realized, and the economical efficiency of the SOP applied to the power distribution network is improved.
