AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

The technical effect of this patented method is that it allows for automatic adjustment or shading on images captured by cameras without requiring manual input from users who have been trained professionally about how they scan documents properly.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the quality of images captured through different types of sensors used during scans on paper or other materials. Specifically, it proposes methods to reduce any disturbances caused by these factors such as reflection off colored backgrounds or changes made over time due to environmental conditions like temperature or humidity.

Embodiment Construction

[0023] Please refer to figure 1 , when using the interlaced sensor scanner 100, the action of compensating the document before scanning, and thereby obtaining the image compensation parameters required for image compensation, and the image compensation parameters are stored in the computer host 150 middle. When the interlaced sensor 110 is going to scan any part of the file, the host computer 150 first transmits a part of the image compensation parameters corresponding to the part of the file to the image compensation buffer 130 through the input / output interface 140 . Then, the spaced scan image obtained by the spaced scan of the interlaced sensor 110 performs image correction via the ASIC ( 120 ) according to part of the image compensation parameters transmitted from the image compensation buffer 130 . The corrected image obtained after calibration is transmitted to the host computer 150 through the input / output interface 140 for storage.

Abstract

A method to fade-out the streak image used in the scanner with staggered sensor for scanning the documents includes the following steps, to judge whether the absolute value obtained by deducting to n+1 number of picture element obtained by the scan of the scanning line with the streak phenomenon from number (n refering to a positive integer) of picture element obtained by the scan is smaller thanthe critical value or not first, then to revised the number of picture element obtained by the scan as the processed n number of picture element when the absolute value is smaller than the critical value.
