powder and a preparation method thereof. The mosquito-repellent
powder is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10 to 20 parts of folium artemisiae argyi, 10 to 20 parts of purple perilla, 5 to 10 parts of mint, 15 to 25 parts of
pericarpium citri reticulatae, 1 to 3 parts of rhizoma acori graminei, 1 to 5 parts of
Agastache rugosus, 6 to 12 parts of attapulgite, 0.5 to 2 parts of mosquito-repellent vanilla, 2 to 8 parts of star anise oil, 0.2 to 0.6 part of methylquinoline, 0.1 to 0.5 part of
sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 0.2 to 0.6 part of an
antioxidant and 1 to 3 parts of an anionic surfactant. The preparation method of the mosquito-repellent
powder comprises extraction of attapulgite, preparation of Chinese herbal
medicine and an ultrafine smashing method. The attapulgite mosquito-repellent powder disclosed by the invention is safe and non-toxic in all components, fragrant in
flavor, obvious in the effect for repelling mosquitoes, flies and insects, is bactericidal, and is unlikely to be wet; and the preparation method is simple and feasible.
