1 results about "Excimer" patented technology

An excimer (originally short for excited dimer) is a short-lived dimeric or heterodimeric molecule formed from two species, at least one of which has completely filled valence shell by electrons (for example, noble gases). In this case, formation of molecules is possible only if such atom is in an electronic excited state. Heteronuclear molecules and molecules that have more than two species are also called exciplex molecules (originally short for excited complex). Excimers are often diatomic and are composed of two atoms or molecules that would not bond if both were in the ground state. The lifetime of an excimer is very short, on the order of nanoseconds. Binding of a larger number of excited atoms forms Rydberg matter clusters, the lifetime of which can exceed many seconds.

The invention discloses a high-color-rendering-index white light organic light-emitting device and a preparation method therefor. The device comprises a substrate, a positive electrode layer, an organic functional layer and a negative electrode layer from the bottom up in sequence; the organic functional layer comprises a hole transport layer, a blue light emitting layer and an electron transport layer from the bottom up in sequence; the blue light emitting layer is formed by the following two manners: (1) a host-guest doped structure formed by a host material doped with a blue fluorescent light emitting material, wherein the doping mass ratio of the blue fluorescent light emitting material is 1-20%; and (2) a non-doped structure which is formed by a single-layer host material close to the hole transport layer and a singe-layer blue fluorescent light emitting material close to the electron transport layer. According to the device, only one kind of the blue fluorescent light emitting material is adopted to generate blue light; in combination with the hole transport layer and the host material to form electroplex to generate orange light and red light so as to realize white light emission with high color rendering index; and meanwhile, the device structure and the preparation process are simplified, the production cost is lowered, and the spectrum stability of the device is improved.
