The invention relates to the technical field of communication positioning and navigation, and in particular to a Matrix Recovery based Radio Map construction method in a WLAN indoor positioning system, which aims to solve a problem that Radio Map constructed at an off-line stage in the existing indoor positioning method is incomplete with noise jamming. The Matrix Recovery based Radio Map construction method in the WLAN indoor positioning system comprises the following steps: (1), selecting suitable origins of coordinates to establish a two-dimensional rectangular coordinate system; (2), recording space position data of each reference point and corresponding received signal strength (RSS) signal space data to complete establishment of a Radio Map database; (3), filling; (4), recovering; and (5), drawing a CDF curve. The Matrix Recovery based Radio Map construction method in the WLAN indoor positioning system is applied to the technical field of communication positioning and navigation.
