Abstract

The invention relates to a map-free indoor navigation method and system based on densely arranged AP, which belongs to the field of navigation technology. According to the invention, data information about a user during indoor activities are acquired and recorded by a trace acquisition module; when navigation is needed, a data preprocessing module processes RSSI information acquired by a reference trace acquisition module and uses the processed information, acquired step numbers of the user and information of the rotation angle of the user as reference data; current location data information acquired by a navigation trace acquisition module is preprocessed and used as input data; and the input data is matched with the reference data in virtue of a matching module, and the system gives out corresponding navigation prompts according to different position states of the user. The map-free indoor navigation method and system provided by the invention make full use of the fact that wireless AP is extensively arranged and realize self navigation of the user without an indoor map or plane graph in virtue of a novel, simple and effective path matching algorithm.
