2 results about "Legume" patented technology

A legume (/ˈlɛɡjuːm, ləˈɡjuːm/) is a plant in the family Fabaceae (or Leguminosae), or the fruit or seed of such a plant (also called a pulse, especially in the mature, dry condition). Legumes are grown agriculturally, primarily for human consumption, for livestock forage and silage, and as soil-enhancing green manure. Well-known legumes include alfalfa, clover, beans, peas, chickpeas, lentils, lupins, mesquite, carob, soybeans, peanuts, and tamarind. Legumes produce a botanically unique type of fruit – a simple dry fruit that develops from a simple carpel and usually dehisces (opens along a seam) on two sides. A common name for this type of fruit is a pod, although the term "pod" is also applied to a number of other fruit types, such as that of vanilla (a capsule) and of the radish (a silique).

The invention provides a screening method of high-oil high-oleic-acid salt-tolerant peanuts, and belongs to the technical field of new peanut variety cultivation. According to the method, high-oil peanuts are used as female parents, high-yield high-oleic-acid peanuts are used as male parents, and hybridization is performed; hybrid detection is performed on F1-generation seeds obtained after hybridization, true hybrids are screened, and false hybrids are eliminated; the F1 seeds of the true hybrid seeds are sowed in a field, and selfed to obtain F2-generation legume seeds; the oil content and the oleic acid content of the F2-generation seeds are detected by using a near infrared instrument in a non-destructive manner, and high-oil high-oleic acid seeds with the oil content of 55% or above and the oleic acid content of 75% or above are screened; salt-tolerant peanuts are used as male parents and high-oil high-oleic-acid F2-generation seeds obtained by screening are used as female parents, composite hybridization is carried out to obtain composite cross F1 pod seeds; and multiple cross is carried out on the F1-generation seeds, hybrid detection, screening true hybrids, eliminating false hybrids and the like are carried out. According to the screening method, the high-oil high-oleic-acid salt-tolerant peanut variety can be obtained.
