The invention relates to a method for arranging local operations in a
management system, the method comprising: defining a management command addressed to a first node in a
management structure of the managed device such that it comprises a command for performing a local operation for a second node of the
management structure in the managed device, transmitting the management command to the managed device, defining at least one required local operation on the basis of the received management command, and initiating the defined local operation.
