The invention discloses a method for measuring the
thermal shrinkage performance of glass paper, which comprises the following steps of:
cutting a plurality of glass paper samples with the same dimension; heating any one sample in a heating medium with constant high temperature for a while, then taking out and placing the heated sample into the kindred medium at
room temperature to be cooled to the
room temperature, and measuring and recording the longitudinal dimension and the lateral dimension of the sample; and calculating the lateral
thermal shrinkage and the longitudinal
thermal shrinkage of the sample respectively according to computational formulas of the lateral thermal shrinkage and the longitudinal thermal shrinkage in accordance with the recorded data. Repetitive operation is carried out to calculate the lateral thermal shrinkage and the longitudinal thermal shrinkage of each sample. The lateral thermal shrinkage and the longitudinal thermal shrinkage of the samples are respectively averaged, and the obtained average values are respectively used as the lateral thermal shrinkage and the longitudinal thermal shrinkage of the measured glass paper. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that: the heating speed is fast, the
waiting time is short, the adjustment is convenient, the operation is simple and convenient, and the thermal shrinkage performance of the glass paper can be represented quantificationally by exact numerical values.
