The invention relates to an Internet of Things platform architecture based on a rule engine, which comprises an application layer, a system service layer, a network layer and an equipment layer whichare sequentially arranged from top to bottom and are in communication connection the system service layer comprises a rule engine module, a database rule event table and an API (Application Program Interface) for processing logic services; and the application layer comprises a monitoring platform control end, and the monitoring platform control end comprises a rule event setting module associatedwith the database rule data table. Compared with the prior art, high separation of the service logic rule and the system is realized through a rule engine technology; a special service logic interfaceis provided; the service personnel can conveniently customize the logic rules, meanwhile, the rule engine technology specifies a set of perfect rule design grammars, a user can abstract the corresponding logic rules from complex service system rules, and the platform system has high flexibility during maintenance and development through the rule engine technology.
