The invention provides an automatic paper winding device for protecting an anticorrosive coating at one end of an oil gas steel pipe. The automatic paper winding device comprises a slope conveying carrying plate. A steel pipe wheel bracket capable of rising and falling as a whole through a lifting mechanism is arranged on the lower side of a steel pipe limiting groove at the tail end of the conveying carrying plate. The steel pipe wheel bracket supports a steel pipe so that the steel pipe can rotate at a constant speed. A lifting arm assembly is erected on an axial moving mechanism on the outer side of the axial end of the steel pipe, and a paper winding system moves towards the axial end of the steel pipe axially. The paper winding system stops at a pipe opening of the steel pipe after the pipe opening is detected through a braking mechanism. The paper winding system composed of a paper releasing mechanism, a paper sending mechanism, a paper cutting mechanism, a paper pressing mechanism and a glue coating system is erected on the lifting arm assembly. After glue is pre-coated by at least one circle, the paper winding system winds and attaches kraft paper strips guided and sent bythe paper sending mechanism and the paper releasing mechanism to the pipe opening of the steel pipe through the rotation of the steel pipe. The technical purposes of automatic paper winding, glue coating and attaching of the pipe opening of the steel pipe are realized by the automatic paper winding device instead of manpower, the technical purposes of better saving energy and reducing consumptionand especially eliminating the poor synchronism between steel pipe rotating and paper winding are realized, and the modern production requirement is met.
