Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method, system and device of main backup system maintenance, comprising steps of: sending message to said backup machine and receiving response of the backup machine after detecting that the backup machine is started; obtaining resource to be copied to said backup machine according to said response; copying the resource to be copied to said backup machine one after one via transmitting passage between said backup machines. In implementation of the invention, copying all software resources to the backup machine of the host computer finally by automatically forming the resource to be copied and copying each software resource to be copied to the backup machine, which enables the main and backup software editions to be identical. The process without human guarantees automation, improves efficiency and reliability, which reduces maintenance cost.
