Abstract

The invention relates to a network switching method, a network device and a communication system. The network switching method comprises the steps of generating reconfigured indication information based on the received configuration information of a wireless links resource. The wireless links resources are a user device switching from a source network to a target network and resources required for conducting business on target network. The reconfigured indication information comprises configured information and indication information which does not initiate update. The reconfigured indication information is sent to the user device which is used for indicating the user device not to initiate update when the resource reconfiguration of the target network is conducted based on the configuration information. The invention reduces the rate of interrupting business of the user device in the process of network switching.
