Abstract

The invention provides a terminal and a file management method. The terminal comprises a segmenting and transposition module and a file storage module; the segmenting and transposition module is used for dividing a source file into multiple segments and arraying the segments again; the file storage module is used for storing the multiple segments which are arrayed again as a new file. If the new file is acquired by other terminals, then the terminals read the different parts of the new file in a wrong sequence since the arraying sequence of the segments of the file is disordered, and accordingly, the file cannot be read normally and security of the file is guaranteed.
