Benefits of technology

The technical effect of this patented technology described in this patents relates to reducing delays caused during transmission between different parts (reading and writing) on an email or message system. By doing these techniques, users receive faster responses for emails without having to stop their work altogether. Additionally, it simplifies the processing required for storing large amounts of data within memory devices like hard disk drives.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technology allows for faster data transfers between two parties over different threads without slowing down or requiring multiple steps during each step.

Abstract

The invention provides a file sending method and apparatus, a file receiving method and apparatus, and terminal equipment. The file sending method is applied to the terminal equipment as a sender; the file sending method comprises the steps of reading at least two file blocks from to-be-sent files in sequence through the order of reading threads, and putting the read file blocks into a to-be-sent list; in the process of putting the read file blocks into the to-be-sent list through the reading threads, obtaining file blocks from the to-be-sent list through a sending thread based on a principle of first in first out, and sending the obtained file blocks. Through the file sending method, the reading and sending of the file blocks in the sender are executed in two threads respectively, so that the waste of time caused by that the operation of sending the file blocks is forced to wait when the operation of reading the file blocks is executed; the receiving and storing of data blocks in an acceptor are executed in parallel in two threads respectively, so that the waste of time caused by that the operation of storing the data block is forced to wait when the operation of receiving the data block is executed; and therefore, the file transmission speed is improved and the user experience is improved.
