Abstract

The invention discloses a communication cable for information transmission. The communication cable is sequentially provided with an outer sheath layer, a nylon sheath layer and an insulation layer from the outside in. A reinforced cable core is arranged under the insulation layer; conductive cores are stranded around the reinforced cable core and wrapped by the insulation layer; two metal detection wires are arranged symmetrically between the insulation layer and the nylon sheath layer; and the reinforced cable core is provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs, which protrude along the radial direction and are mutually independent, at intervals. The metal detection wires are used for detecting whether the communication cable is stolen or cut off in real time, accurately determining the fault occurring places and giving a feedback in time; the interval arrangement allows the inner core to deal with the tension more effectively when the communication cable is pulled in the length direction; and the mutually-independent reinforcing ribs do not hinder the arrangement of the cables in the insulation layer.
