Abstract

The invention provides a data storage and management method in a cloud computing platform. The method comprises steps of: a, dividing a storage space into multiple same storage blocks according to fixed sizes, and numbering each storage block; b, dividing each storage block into multiple same partitioned blocks according to fixed sizes and numbering each partitioned block; c, enabling a source server to copy, according to a copy file request of a request server, the content of all partitioned blocks and combine a complete file to be sent to the request server. The data storage and management method in a cloud computing platform, in view of the storage spaces of different storage devices, changes file stored positions with a change in user access to object data after storage so as to enable the user to fastest get access to the required files, thereby increasing the access efficiency of a storage system and further increasing the service efficiency of a cloud storage system.
