AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology helps optimize networks with multiple types of communication resources based on their needs. By training an algorithm called AML (Artificial Intelligence Layer) onto these models, it learns how best they should handle varying levels of congestion or other issues affecting transmission rates between nodes within them. Based on past experience, the system determines which type of resource has more important requirements than others during its lifetime. When there is too much heavy usage from certain sources like voice calls, some servers may have fewer connections while those connected clients require higher speeds due to increased demand. However, if only one server requires high performance, another server becomes less efficient because it doesn’t provide any extra benefits beyond what was previously needed.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to controlling how important service providers use their resources based upon factors like available capacity, load levels, etc., without affecting other customers who may also require more access than usual.

Embodiment Construction

[0065] In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the solution of the present application, the technical solution in the embodiment of the application will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in the embodiment of the application. Obviously, the described embodiment is only It is a part of the embodiments of this application, not all of them. Based on the embodiments in this application, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without making creative efforts belong to the scope of protection of this application.

[0066] After research, the inventor found that in the traditional QoS technology, the network device classifies the specified data flow according to the user's pre-defined policy to identify the label of priority, wherein the user's pre-defined policy is usually according to the data flow under normal circumstances. It is defined when the traffic occupies the bandwidt

Abstract

The invention discloses a method of controlling a flow bandwidth. For one data flow set, under the condition that the data flow set uses a historical adjusting strategy and a predefined strategy to distribute labels in a historic time period, a flow state satisfies an expected degree and a machine learning model is trained, and the machine learning model acquired through training determines a current adjusting strategy which makes a subsequent flow state of the data flow satisfies an expectation maximumly according to a flow statistics result of the data flow set in a current time period. Therefore, network equipment can adjust a strategy which is predefined by a user according to the changed flow state so that labels distributed for a key service are increased and/or labels distributed for a non-key service are decreased. A sending speed of a non-key service flow is reduced so that a link bandwidth is not occupied excessively by the non-key service flow and a data flow of the key service can occupy an enough bandwidth at an entrance and an exit of network equipment.
