Abstract

The invention provides a mobile terminal and a communication method. The mobile terminal comprises an antenna and a controller. The antenna comprises a first feeding point in connection with one half part of the lower frame of the full metal frame; a second feeding point in connection with the other half part of the lower frame of the full metal frame; a first grounding point arranged at the left frame of the full metal frame; a second grounding point arranged at the right frame of the full metal frame; a resonant structure containing a frame located among the first grounding point, the first feeding point and the second grounding point in the full metal frame; and a controller used to detect the mode of a user's current handheld terminal, controls the states of the first feeding point and the second feeding point according to the user's current handheld terminal and controls the antenna for communications through the resonant structure. According to the embodiments of the invention, an antenna is arranged at the non-metal back housing of a full metal back plate and according to the mode of a user's current handheld terminal, different feeding points could be controlled for communications, therefore, reducing the influence of hands on the performances of the antenna.
