The method comprises the steps of obtaining text information to be extracted and a preset modeltree, wherein the model tree comprises at least multiple nodes and an extraction expression set corresponding to each node; calling operation that a user selects the nodes, utilizing the extraction expression sets corresponding to the selected nodes in the model tree to extract the text information to be extracted, and obtaining an extraction result; obtaining a preset node path corresponding tothe model tree; utilizing a terminal node of the preset node path, and according to a preset screening rule, screening the extraction result to obtain a screening result, wherein the preset screeningrule comprises a full node screening rule, a child node screening rule and a current node screening rule. According to the method and device of custom rule text information extraction result screening, the terminal node of the preset node path is utilized, according to the screening rule selected by the user, the extraction result is extracted again, finally an extraction result required by the user is obtained, the extraction result is precisely obtained, and the extraction efficiency is improved.
