AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for better identification of targets through multiple types of radiation (X ray) scans taken from different angles around them. By selecting specific values based on factors like energy range division settings and energy thresholds, this technology improves its overall capabilities while also balancing out competitiveness against other techniques used during medical procedures.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patents relating to radiography systems involves achieving high accuracy while minimizing interference caused by overlapping or underestimated energy distributions during image analysis. This requires optimal selection among many possible energies within each section of the x-ray beam's range. However, current techniques require extensive manual input and tuned settings, making these approaches difficult when dealing with complex scenes where there may be thousands of energy segments being analyzed simultaneously.

Abstract

The invention provides a method of using a multi-energy spectrum X-ray imaging system for the identification of articles and the multi-energy spectrum X-ray imaging system for the identification of articles. The method comprises the following steps: identifying the application scene and/or prior information of the article; selecting a parameter mode suitable for the article from a plurality of parameter modes stored in the multi-energy spectrum X-ray imaging system according to the identified application scene and/or prior information; and identifying the article by using the selected parameter mode, wherein the plurality of parameter modes are acquired by optimizing the system parameters of the multi-energy spectrum X-ray imaging system under specific conditions in virtue of training sample databases targeted to a variety of different articles. The multi-energy spectrum X-ray imaging system provided by the invention is applicable to a variety of different application scenes and realizes the balance between the performance of the system and expenditure.
