Example Embodiment

[0020] It can be seen from the background technology that the existing graphics generation technology cannot take into account the quality of graphics and the speed of formation. The inventor has studied the above problems and believes that the reason for the low quality of the graphics in the prior art is that the character graphics are generated by fitting straight line segments. The reason for the slow speed is that software compensation is needed to eliminate burrs, which is time-consuming. After further research, the inventor provides an FPGA-based graphics generator and graphics generation method in the present invention.

[0021] The FPGA-based graphics generator provided in the present invention includes: FPGA, FLASH, SRAM, and display terminal; the FPGA reads control instructions in the external instruction FLASH, and the FPGA retrieves graphic elements from the library FLASH according to the control instructions, The FPGA also receives data instructions sent by an external

Abstract

The invention discloses an FPGA-based graph generation device and graph generation method. The FPGA-based graph generation device comprises an FPGA, FLASHs, an SRAM and a display terminal, wherein theFPGA reads a control instruction in the external instruction FLASH; the FPGA calls graph elements from the graph library FLASH according to the control instruction; the FPGA further receives a data command sent by an external communication interface to perform combination for forming a required graph; and the FPGA forms the displayable graph under the cooperation of a buffer of the external SRAM,and outputs the graph to the display terminal. Through the method and the device, the graph generation quality and speed can be considered.
