Each wearable monitoring device sleeves the head of a cow,and acceleration information of the cow ingestion behaviors is collected through a sensor, contacting with the cheek or the nose of the cow; the sensor of the device is sequentially connected with arelay, a data storing module and a data processing module electrically, the acceleration information collected by the sensor is transmitted to the data storing module through the relay for data processing and storing, and the data processing module monitors and analyzes the ingestion behaviors and the ingestion amount of the cows by calling the acceleration information in the data storing module.By the wearable monitoring device and the monitoring system, automatic monitoring of the ingestion behaviors and the individual ingestion amount of each cow in the process of cow breeding is realized,building of an Internet of Things data platform based on the cow ingestion behaviors and the ingestion amount is facilitated, remote transmission, analysis and management of data are realized, and digitalization and intelligentization levels of precise feeding of the cows are elevated.
