Abstract

The invention relates to an airbag and an airbag assembly. The airbag comprises an airbag body, wherein the airbag body comprises first portions and second portions, and the outer sides of the first portions and the second portions are connected; when the airbag body is unfolded, the first portions are subjected to air inflation and expanded, and the second portions are not subjected to air inflation and extend in an unfolded region of the airbag body with the expansion of the first portions, wherein the unfolded region is used for providing protection for a passenger between the passenger anda vehicle; and when the airbag body is in a stored state, the first portions and the second portions are contained in a reserved space in the vehicle. According to the airbag, the great protection can be provided for the passenger, and meanwhile, the light weight is achieved.
