Abstract

The invention relates to a parallel video image dynamic range enhancement device and method, and belongs to the technical field of video image enhancement. The invention provides a parallel image dynamic range enhancement device and method. The device is mainly used for achieving low-cost and high-speed parallel table look-up, and can achieve the reconstruction of hardware according to an image processing algorithm. According to the method, image gray histograms are put into statistics according to a conventional histogram equalization algorithm, so that a mapping curve can be generated; and then gray scale transformation is completed in a parallel table look-up mode, and dynamic range enhancement is realized, so that real-time calculation of a gray scale mapping function and parallel grayscale mapping operation are realized.
