Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for constructing the Linux system. The method includes: obtaining multiple software packages firstly, wherein the software packages are used for constructingthe Linux system; then determining the operation dependency relationship between the software packages based on a preset operation dependency detection rule, and then based on a preset compilation dependency detection rule, determining a compiling dependency relationship between the software packages, then determining a compiling sequence between the software packages based on the compiling dependency relationship and the running dependency relationship between the software packages, and finally recursively compiling the corresponding software packages based on the compiling sequence betweenthe software packages so as to construct the Linux system. By means of the method, the software package used for constructing the Linux system can obtain the determined compiling environment based onthe clear software package dependence relation so as to construct the controllable Linux system, and the requirement for controllability of the compiling environment in the Linux system constructing process can be met.
