The arrangement and the operation other than those of the display unit 300 are the same as those shown in the Embodiment 1, and description is given here only on writing, display and reading as well as recording of image information displayed on the display unit 300. This electronic board is an electronic display device, which can directly write the data on screen. FIG. 4B shows an arrangement example of this display device. In FIG. 4B, the display device comprises a display element 3011 and a direct input unit 3012. As the display element 3011, a display panel is used, which can control display and non-display for each pixel on liquid crystal panel, plasma panel or organic EL (electroluminescence) panel, etc. The direct input unit 3012 is installed by superimposing it on the screen of this display element 3011.
