The invention relates to a short-process non-consumable arc melting preparation method of a high-density and high-melting-point tungsten alloy. According to the invention, W powder with an average particle size of 3-5 micrometers and tantalum powder with an average particle size of 5 micrometers are uniformly mixed according to designed components and then are put into a cold isostatic pressing sheath, and a prefabricated block is obtained through cold isostatic pressing forming; the cold isostatic pressing process conditions comprise the steps that firstly, the cold isostatic pressing pressure is gradually increased to 250 MPa and kept, then, the cold isostatic pressing pressure is gradually reduced to 160 MPa at the speed of 18 MPa/min and kept for 2 min, and finally, the pressure is reduced to normal pressure from 160 MPa at the speed of 10 MPa/min; and finally, high-density and high-melting-point tungsten alloy or pure tungsten is obtained through non-consumable electric arc melting. The block-shaped green body with strong binding force is prepared by adopting cold isostatic pressing in one step, and a compact product with uniform components is obtained by combining a subsequent process. The preparation process is simple and controllable, the obtained product is excellent in performance, and large-scale industrial application is facilitated.
