The invention belongs to a coal slime flotation method in coal mine production and particularly relates to pre-separation process of coal slime flotation. Slime water of a coal preparation plant is evenly mixed, after the slime water is graded through a concentration hydrocyclone, underflow serves as coarse clean coal, overflow slime water passes through an overflow feeding pipe of the concentration hydrocyclone to enter a buffering agitator (3), a coarse separating screen plate (2) arranged in the buffering agitator (3) in an inclined mode is utilized to remove large particles, the overflow slime water enters the buffering agitator (3) after the coarse particles are removed, the overflow slime water is evenly mixed, and the slime water evenly mixed in the buffering agitator (3) is pumped into the left end of a first feeding pressure stabilizing pipe (5) connected with the upper portion of a first hydrocyclone (7) through a feeding slurry pump. Fine pea coal, low ash content fine fraction coal and non-coal mine coenobium parts are discharged from a bottom flow opening (10) of a taper angle hydrocyclone of a first hydrocyclone set and enter a section of a bottom flow buffering pond (11), and high ash content granule minerals are discharged through an overflow pipes (14) at the upper ends of small taper angle hydrocyclones in a second hydrocyclone set. Compared with prior art, the pre-separation process of coal slime flotation can achieve pre-separation before coal slime enters a flotation system.
