The method includes: in the uplink direction, subjecting an uplink signal to down-sampling by an RRU (radio remote unit) according to a P/Q ratio to obtain an uplink signal with a second sampling rate, subjecting the down-sampled uplink signal to quantization compressing according to a preset compression ratio, sending the uplink signal subjected to quantization compressing to a BBU (baseband unit), and using the BBU for quantization decompressing of the uplink signal subjected to quantization compressing; and in the downlink direction, using the BBU for quantization compressing of a downlink signal with the second sampling rate according to the compression ratio, sending the downlink signal subjected to quantization compressing to the RRU, using the RRU for quantization decompressing of the downlink signal subjected to quantization compressing, and subjecting the downlink signal after quantization decompressing to up-sampling according to a Q/P ratio. By means of combination of down-sampling and quantization compressing, the volume of data transmitted through an interface Ir is effectively compressed.
