The invention provides a tension band system matched with a proximal femoral nail, and relates to the technical field of medical equipment. The tension band system solves the technical problem that the proximal femoral nail is likely to break due to concentrated stress. The tension band system matched with the proximal femoral nail comprises a distal loop, a proximal loop, a tension band and a lock catch, wherein the proximal loop is detachably arranged on the top of the proximal femoral nail, the distal loop is detachably arranged at the lower part of the proximal femoral nail, the tension band is a closed annular band, the two ends of the tension band are connected with the proximal loop and the distal loop respectively, and the lock catch is connected to the tension band between the distal loop and the proximal loop.
