AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This patented technology describes how an improved protective system called MBLKS (Moving Blockchain Network) helps ensure reliable communication between satellites without sacrificially relying upon spare capacity reserved during normal operation. It uses multiple physical backups along its own route rather than just once they have been lost beforehand. Additionally, if some connections become unavailable at any given moment, another connection may still exist even afterward. Overall, these technical improvements improve efficiency and reliability over existing systems like Sentinel-1.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the reliance and performance of internet protocols (IP)-based satellite systems while minimizing their impact upon normal operations during reconfiguration events such as hardware/software crashes due to external attacks like malware. Current methods involve either deploying redundant components or implementing redundancy techniques with spare connections between active devices. However, there may still exist some vulnerabilities where certain parts cannot work properly even if they were previously deployed correctly. Therefore, current solutions require further improvements over existing ways to ensure reliable operation across all potential scenarios without compromising mission capabilities.

[0041]The QoS protection strategy based on MPLS satellite network is a method that can switch QoS service flow to virtual standby path when the network fails. The virtual standby path does not realize real resource reservation, improves the utilization rate of satellite network bandwidth resources, and can also dynamically change the protection strength of links and nodes. Wherein, the virtual path generator, the virtual path maintenance module, the virtual path update module, and the virtual path revocation module are the main functional components for realizing the method of the present invention, and several specific parts are explained below:

[0042] Service LSP: The packet label forwarding path established by the ingress satellite node and the egress satellite node of the service LSP through the label switching protocol.

[0043] Virtual standby path: a packet label forwarding that has the same ingress port and egress port as the service LSP, does

Abstract

A protecting strategy based on MPLS satellite network is a fault protecting mechanism based on the MPLS satellite network, which is used to solve the protecting problems of QoS traffic flow when the satellite network goes wrong based on MPLS. Different from traditional protecting strategy, a virtual standby route in the invention does not realize true resource reservation, thereby advancing utilance of satellite bandwidth resource, also dynamically changing protecting force of the traffic flow, with definite flexibility. In view of characteristics of the satellite, through maintaining the virtual standby route, the virtual route does not fail because of change of satellite network topology. The protecting strategy also solves the problems of failure of traffic LSP generated when switching the satellite, through the method of the invention, the QoS traffic flow is transmitted to the virtual standby route when the satellite node or the satellite link fails.
