The invention discloses a safe overwintering method of castor-oil plants and relates to the technical field of agricultural planting. The method comprises the measures of fertilizing for strengthening plants, watering for resisting cold, winding straws and films for preserving heat, earthing up for antifreezing, relieving films and removing sprouting and has the effects of strengthening the plants, resisting cold, preserving heat, antifreezing, sprouting, strengthening seedlings, and the like. The method can improve the output, reduce the production cost, increase the income of planting the castor-oil plants and is suitable for the application in areas with minimum temperature within 0-10 DEG C in winter.
